Tras varios días de rumores y especulaciones, Sia acaba de estrenar su nueva canción junto a Kendrick Lamar titulada «The Greatest». El lanzamiento viene acompañado por un vídeo y es un hermoso homenaje a las víctimas de la masacre de Orlando que estoy segura que les pondrá los pelos de punta.
Sia nos tiene acostumbradas a vídeos muy artísticos y este no ha sido la excepción. Está protagonizado, como ya es costumbre por Maddie Ziegler, pero esta vez no está sola. A su lado aparecen 49 bailarines que mediante el arte representan todo lo que se perdió junto a las 49 vidas con las que terminó el asesino de la masacre de Orlando.
El arte es muy poderoso, es una vía increíble para transmitir ideas y emociones y ver a alguien llorar lágrimas de colores en medio de un mar de niños sin vida te encoje el corazón. Pero es precisamente eso lo que quiere el vídeo. Que nos demos cuenta de lo que se destruye con el odio. Y al mismo tiempo la música nos impulsa a seguir, porque como siempre les digo, siempre queda esperanza. No importa lo difícil que se vean las cosas, del otro lado de la tormenta está el arcoiris.
No estoy llorando, es que están cortando cebollas aquí a mi lado… Yo por lo pronto las dejo con la letra de la canción para quien quiera cantarla en el karaoke lesbicanario.
